By accessing or using Sermon Coach (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Sermon Coach is an AI-powered sermon coaching platform that analyzes sermon manuscripts and provides feedback across multiple dimensions including theological accuracy, structural clarity, audience engagement, and pastoral effectiveness.

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate coaching feedback. AI-generated feedback is not a substitute for theological education, pastoral mentorship, or denominational oversight. All feedback should be evaluated using your own theological judgment and in consultation with your faith community's leadership.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

4. Sermon Manuscript Data

When you submit a sermon manuscript for analysis, the content is processed by our AI system to generate coaching feedback. Your sermon manuscripts remain your intellectual property. We do not claim ownership of any content you submit.

Sermon manuscripts and analysis results are stored in our database to provide you with history and tracking features. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

5. AI Limitations & Disclaimer

The AI coaching feedback is generated algorithmically and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or suggestions that do not align with your specific theological tradition. The Service is designed to support — not replace — human judgment in sermon preparation.

We make no guarantees about the theological accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of any AI-generated feedback. You assume full responsibility for how you incorporate any suggestions into your preaching.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Submit content that is hateful, abusive, or promotes violence
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the AI models or algorithms
• Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service
• Exceed usage limits or attempt to circumvent rate limiting
• Resell or redistribute the Service or its outputs without permission

7. Free Tier & Usage Limits

The Service currently offers a free tier with a limited number of sermon analyses. We reserve the right to modify usage limits, introduce paid tiers, or change pricing at any time with reasonable notice to users.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sermon Coach shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
